BKA Project Scientist John Hennessy was elected 1998 Treasurer of North Carolina Association of Environmental Professionals (NCAEP). NCAEP is a multidisciplinary organization for environmental professionals, composed of scientists, engineers, lawyers, landscape architects, natural resource managers, professors, and students. NCAEP's members work in the private, governmental, and academic sectors. The organization goal is to serve members' professional development while increasing general awareness of the professional environmental field.

As the Treasurer, Mr. Hennessy leads the development and tracking of budgets and finance related items. As an Executive Officer of NCAEP, Mr. Hennessy coordinates with the other officers in the organization's strategic planning, membership development, and daily operations.
